Injectable Wrinkle Relaxers

  • Neurotoxins are prescription injections with the medication Botulinum toxin A, that will improve frown and worry lines, crow’s feet, and lip lines. It corrects wrinkles by temporarily weakening the facial muscle action that causes them. Within 3 to 5 days, the treated areas will begin to soften, and the wrinkles will continue to fade over the course of the next few weeks. Cost depends on desired effect and number of areas treated. Treatment is recommended every 3-4 months.
  • Neurotoxins can also be used in the masseter (chewing muscles) to treat symptoms of TMJ, teeth grinding, and to slim the face into a V-line shape. In certain cases, injections into the temporalis muscle can improve jaw tension, and even improve migraines.
